Sovereign paid a nonpayment claim to European Trading Company for non-payment of receivables due from a parastatal entity in Nigeria. This default stemmed from a change in the country’s oil importation system and the failure of one of the government-owned companies to pay its outstanding receivables owed to the Trading Company.
